Hello everyone, for today I would like to continue with this section "The Origins of DMS" for all of you that missed the first par you can find it over -here-. As I mentioned by the end of part-1 there was a story that would drive me to try and make a blog for independent Manga drawn by us, that story is no other than -The Supreme Ar of War-
Interesting name for a story about candy colored ponies right? |
Despise Kei having doubts about making a story like the ones we usually work with the adorable grass-chewers and after several discussions we finally managed to make a story we both liked.
Though as we soon discovered making Manga was something that we couldn't do just the 2 of us, thankfully enough we weren't the only crazy guys aspiring to become "Mangakas".
As Christian and Victor united to our cause we not only gained 2 very talented teammates, but also a new story to work with:
It took a lot of time and effort to make this guy look this good~ |
Even tho we were passionate and inspired by a well known Anime series about two high school students whose dreams were to become famous Manga artist.
But as well all known Anime is not reality |
We still lacked the resources and material to be able to pull something better than the average wanna-be Mangakas, we also lacked experience in the field and while our progress was good we were still way to slow to be able to have a Manga done in a decent enough amount of time.
We needed someone with great talent, capable of drawing fast enough, we needed our very own Nizuma Eiji!
Yes he is that good! |
By something that would seem fate we did not only got a talented artist, but also someone that we consider a very close resemble of Nizuma Eiji (just on the drawing aspect they don't look anything alike..), With Miguel Doujin Manga Society was officially born and we had another story to add.
Can you believe this was almost entirely handmade? |
Since then we have come a long way, learning from our Mistakes improving as we worked and as you can see today we are only getting better and better~
Well that pretty much summarize how Doujin Manga Society was created and how our little team of Mangakas-wanna be got together and shared with you stories that we created and crafted that we think are worth sharing.
So as always I would love to hear your opinions, thought or question on our comment section below, if you would like to know anything else about us or our stories just ask!
This is Kyou wishing you all a nice day and be sure to check DMS again for more Doujins and Manga.
Whoa, didn't know that's how you guys started o: That's cool!
