For today we will be looking at yet another of the most important tools for any aspirant Mangaka.
Pencils/Mechanical Pencils

There is a wide variety of pencils and mechanical pencils, each is used for a different thing and having plenty of options is always useful.
As we mentioned it on the "Tools for Making Manga" post we recommend pencils that are soft enough to be easily erased.

As for pricing and brands, usually any pencil or mechanical pencil you are comfortable with would work, though there are some brands we tend to prefer due to personal experience like Staedtler or Prismacolor.
These tend to be of an accessible price and of good quality with many options to suit everyone's needs. Also I found this very useful article about drawing pencils and it does have some useful tips for drawing.
