Before we start, keep in mind that this is just a guide to assist you with the process of developing an idea. Remember that you can change some of the steps or adapt them to your own personal preferences.
- Step 1.
Research the topic:While it might take a considerable amount of time, researching will let you explore different points of view or understand the topic you would like to base your idea off in a far more deeper way.
- Step 2.
Sketch:Try making a very quick sketch of your basic idea, avoid investing too much time into this task since it's only to give you a general idea of how things should look. The main objective of this step is letting you find the right reference for further use.
- Step 3.
Reference:
As the name imply, this will serve you as aids to achieve the final step or the final form of your idea. Try using or having a selection of different images, trading cards, photographs or anything that could help you work on your ideas.
.
- Step 4.
Final Drawing:This will depend on the technique, references and your personal preferences. Combining all the previous steps into making your idea a reality and hopefully will have saved you the classic draw-erase dance that many artist suffer as they try to bring a new idea into reality.
Once again please remember that this is just a small fraction of what can be done and a bit of what I have studied, if you would like me to give a more information about this topic you can always contact us at our Facebook page or leave us a comment right here on the website.
