It seems like they caught her for dinner which means it is an eatable animal.

Well , since it's been some time and nobody has answered so far that "creature" name would be Pinkie Pie of the My Little Pony Friendship is Magic (MLP:FiM) to be exact it's the second season first episode Return of Harmony (Part 1)
